You came in an envelope with letters and forms and such,
Just a tiny picture with nothing warm to touch.
You grew in my imagination, in my heart and in my mind,
You’ve brought me more joy than I thought I’d ever find.
A phone call started labor pains which lasted ‘til we met.
Strangers, brought together on a day I won’t forget.
In my heart, my life, my home,
My child, of chance of will, You’re now my very own

Why I Created This Website:
Babies & children need homes all over the world. Adoption resources online, free search, adoption exchanges, international & domestic (US), photo listings, "Seoul in Two Days" story, free coping resources, more.
Hello, and thank you for stopping by Adoption Links. I wanted to tell you a bit about myself, and what drove me to create this website. My name is Ellen DuBois. I'm a writer & singer/songwriter. Creating websites, (Plus Size Fashions, Women's Clothing Closet, God's Rainbow of Promises, MiscarriageHelp.com, ChristmasTree, to name a few), is something I do in-between writing and living my life- a life that doesn't yet feel complete because my dream of adopting a special child God has in store for me hasn't come true...yet. If it's God's will, my dream will come true. I cling to that hope like a beacon of light on a dark, foggy night.
That hasn't changed in thirty-some-odd years.
I know how it feels to go every day with an emptiness in your heart- an emptiness that will only be filled when the miracle day happens and a child to love with all your heart is in your arms, your life, your soul. I also know life must go on in the meantime, and some days it gets pretty tough to cope.
That's when faith steps in and I'm held up by the arms of God. I thank God for that.
During the course of my reading books and researching on the Internet, I've come across some fabulous adoption resources. They help clear the often confusing path to adoption, and I thought it would do everyone interested some good if I created another useful adoption resource site. Myself included.
As I learn and grow, so will this website. I want to create another place for people to turn to in their quest of adopting. I want to create a place that people with hearts full of love and dreams for a special child can refer to; do some research, perhaps find a book or two, and in the process, get one step closer to reaching their goal of completing the often long, but worth every step, journey down the path of adoption.
I wish you the very best, all of God's blessings, and the continued strength, hope and belief that your dreams of adoption will come true.
May God see fit to bring you and your special one together soon.
Sincerely and with much understanding, Ellen DuBois
PS- I teach beginner/advanced & intermediate piano to children ages 5 to 17. I believe learning HAS to be fun- and if it extends into the home- even better! My students often laugh during their lessons because I know how busy their schedules are. I don't want learning to play the piano to be just another 'thing to do' on their list of activities. The value of music is huge! Learning to play the piano builds confidence, helps with school, is known to improve grades and so much more. Take a look at the video below which explains how The Piano Wizard works for students and teachers alike...no matter what your age of level of ability.
